Why meditate with us?
Guided meditation is an excellent way to down-regulate your body’s nervous system - going from “always on” to “rest and repair.” In this state, your body can repair tissue, integrate big emotions and release stagnant energy that keeps you bound, tight and constricted.
How I Got Here
When I was nine years old, I furiously unwrapped a brand-new Maxell cassette tape, tossing the wrapper carelessly into the air, as I popped that classic tape into my Sony recorder. Pushing “record,” I transformed into a tenured sports broadcaster, an alter-ego, calling a completely fabricated, fantasy baseball game, like the ones I’d seen and heard for years prior. “He’s rounding third, headed for home…the slide at the plate…he’s SAFE!” What an incredible, visceral memory that to this day gives me the goosebumps.
My love of the human voice, beginning in the early 1980’s, had me tuning into Phillies baseball and, equally, to Peter Jennings, the anchor of the ABC nightly news, with whom I grew up. The nuance of his tone, conveying gravity or levity captivated me, making me an audiophile of life. Childhood dreams of becoming a voice announcer finally coalesced in this season of my life, where for the last dozen years I’ve been guiding clients into relaxed states of consciousness through what seems to come most naturally - orated meditation. No coincidence, huh?
My work as a coach and healer, through my voice, has rippled into the nervous systems of a vast number of people seeking softening, release and repair. What an incredible joy it has been to give back to people in a way that is so satisfying to my child self, my clients and the collective energy at large.
